How do we allow teams to turn and play to someone in acres of space into the centre of our midfield? What are our players doing off of the ball?

Sums us up. People ask why Bentancur doesn’t pass forward? That’s a big part of it.

Under Ange, Porro would have been in the final third. He’s an attacking full back, in fact he’s a wing back rather than a full back, but he’s being restricted.

That's revisionism. He would have been inverted into the central space for most of Ange's tenure. Porro has been good tonight. He has every right to give the guy in front of him a round of fux and get his head into the game.
