The real issue was that Starmer and other cabinet ministers made clear and definitive public statements on an issue without being anywhere near over the full facts of it, resulting in yet another sh*tshow being played out in public. Its becoming a regular theme for this government.....and why public confidence in them is so low.
The issue for me is that they clearly monitor social media hence how we have more arrests for social media then anywhere else in Europe.

They employ researchers and assistants. So I think it was not a mistake but deliberate.

I think you're lavishing Starmer and his cronies with too much competence. Honestly think Starmer read a few sentences about this guy and decided it was a good case to spaff some sh*t about in public to show Labour's "social/international justice" credentials to prop up waning support drifting to greens.....i think there's currently a genuine "oh sh*t, f*ck me" discovery going on in No. 10 as the full facts about this guy are coming out.....
