Our most talented players. Bergvall, Gray, Xavi all so young/ inexperienced in the PL. Nut glad we’re playing them. They make errors but their heads don’t drop and they keep trying. Three of our bravest, most driven players.

This has been the point all along - Frank has been criticised for playing dull football. If his team tried things and they didn't come off because of their youthfulness and inexperience fans would be more receptive to it and see the long game. See Grays mistake at Forest, no one has made a big deal out of it; we know his talent and at his age these things happen.

So let's see how it plays out having these young but brave players in the team together - On the face of it, it's a positive step.....
 
I really didn't want to see Richie falling over and flailing against the brick wall of Konate/Van Dijk, so I am glad we will see Bergvall instead.
It may not work, but it is what I wanted... be careful what you wish for!


Annoyed Szloboslai is fit, thought he wouldn't make it, but of course he does vs Spurs.
Their bench looks weak.

He also expected Szloboslai to be fit - I remember in the pre match press conference he said he would play as he's a beast, so at least he should have a plan for that....

I'm up WHL for the first time this season, so can share the blame!
I've captained Ekitike in my fantasy football team to jinx him, replacing Woltermade who rediscovered how to score after a month of firing blanks for my team!
 
Yesterday I rewatched the "awful" performance up at Forest and... it wasn't as bad as I remembered.
Bentancur wasn't as poor / cowardly as I remembered. We did lots of things pretty well but Forest just bit down on any tiny bit of progress we made. Loads of good tackles, loads of fouls and loads of falling to the ground to win a freekick.

I'd say Spence was our worst player, nothing came off for him, and he kept walking/jogging back from upfield positions. No wonder he was subbed for Davies.

It was almost working, not tooooo bad, could be OK, but of course the mistake from Archie/Vic for the first goal, then that fluke cross that went in... but yeah, we weren't allowed to play nice football, they chopped us off at every opportunity.

Will be very interesting tonight to see if Bergvall/Xavi/Muani/Kudus can link up because they all have skills and talent to make something happen, they can all PLAY.

It is so dark today, feels like 9PM already, but there are games after our game. Gonna feel like midnight by then.
