Paul Stalteri
He was unlucky in those 22 PL losses last season. And at Forest.
Otherwise, you’re hypothesis is rock solid.
There were no mitigating circumstances? Either way - neither of us are going to change our minds.

The ‘mightier than thou’ tone doesn’t make you right mate. Everyone understands how a season works, it’s over 38 games - my opinion is that over his e tire time with us, and his stint at Forest, he showed he isn’t Prem level, that’s my opinion, you disagree, cool. The sarcy little “look at these guys doesn’t make you opinion any more correct or valid.
On records, Ange has never lost to Frank. In H2H, Frank got beaten by Ange.Cool, I disagree based on their records. But that’s opinions and that’s fine.
If Leeds could beat Brentford would be fantasticAt least some cheer with Villa getting a late winner to put pressure on Arsenal and keep West Ham in the bottom 3
I'll be honest I don't see it with Maddison. I was one of those who was very critical of him even the first season under Ange. I find him to be a player that promises a lot but delivers little. Hes underwhelming, I know everyone will disagree or give me pelters, but truly hes a meh player. Hes more of the same as far as this current squad is concerned, an 8-14 team player.Maddison provides good passing and creativity in/from the middle of the pitch - we would look a much more balanced side with him in Simons position in this 4231. Solanke can hold the ball up and is a focal point which is two of the main things lacking in Richarlison.
It wouldn't turn us in to world beaters but would certainly improve us in the areas we are currently finding most frustrating currently
This is a team that have been giving away points for fun for the best part of 18 months with not so much as a whimper of a response - they haven't got an ounce of professional pride between them

Lol and I thought I had just watched the Spurs pantomime. Vicario to Archie Gray "He`s behind you"Sounds like the panto I went too was much better than this

Disgraceful performance. It’s unacceptable and inexcusable.
Saying it’s down to two mistakes and a worldie is disingenuous. They murdered us.
Our tactics were beyond brainless. The performances, to a man, were just as bad. Spence’s reaction to coming off was yet another little sign of dissent. Johnson, coming on, didn’t look like he wanted to come on the pitch. Maybe I’m reading too much into little things but this doesn’t look a happy camp.
Frank should get the season at least but many more like this and he won’t. There have been too many of them already.
That is fineI once accelerated away from a set of lights in my mums mini before a Ferrari sat next to me, but there would be more nuance to an overall decision on which car I’d want…
It’s fine mate, you think Ange is better overall, I think Frank is better than Ange. Neither opinion is illegal, we can agree to disagree.
Good win today please. Shut up the bed wetters for a little while.
I know you want to turn this into a Frank vs Ange thing but meh not interested. Both suffer from having players not up to standard they require. We'll see if Frank is able to either get players in who do match his requirements, or he is able to adapt to the squad he has available and get performances and results. Time will tell.Righto champ. Glad Thomas Frank has come in to save the day.

A friend put it like this to me, you want players who you think are too good for your side. We've had a few in our time, Berbatov, Bale, Kane etc, etc. Then you have players who are exactly at their level, then you have those you feel you could improve upon. Maddison for me is in that last category. If he were fit and playing he'd be a player that i'd very likely be saying we need to improve upon, so for me I don't look at his absence as being especially painful. He wasn't actually that great when he was available, but thats just imo, and I know I have higher standards than most.
Mate, seriously, no-one, not one single poster, is saying we’ve got a squad full of world beaters, but we should be playing better than this..I know you want to turn this into a Frank vs Ange thing but meh not interested. Alonso! All depends if another manager becomes available
That may make the club act
I don't believe his actual quality will in reality make a difference. It didn't last season or the season before that.Whether you rate him highly or not surely you can see that his profile as a player is that of what we are missing right now and what no other midfielder in our squad offers?
