Yes. You can do emergency injury swaps to your squad now. So Tel has replaced Solanke for the rest of the group phaseDoes that mean he can actually play? I'm confused.
I read somewhere that he could replace Solanke because Solanke’s injury was more than 60 days which is the rule. But Jesus has replaced Dowman in Arsenals squad and he only got injured on Saturday apparently?
I thought Tel was bright when he came on. Odobert was really poor.
I'd like to see Tel given a run on the left with Kudus on the right and Xavi and Muani playing through the middle.
Bit harsh to say Odobert was poor. He has played better for sure but remember in the fist minute he'd have had an assist if their GK didn't pull of a miraculous save his his shoulder.
Got a couple of decent shots off as well. I was also disappointed he didn't continue to try and take on their right-back directly but that might have been because they started doubling up a bit more on his side...
Odobert wasn't poor imo.
Tel showed good sharpness and quick feet i agree.
86% of duels lost
zero dribbles completed
missed 2 big chances
OK, he wasn't a total disaster but if he can't produce against that opposition then I would worry about him against the PL's best. There just seems to be something missing from his game at this early stage of his career. Tel seemed to have way more purpose when he came on.
Personally, I wouldn't be selecting Odobert over Tel.
Dribbling stats are imo really inaccurate/misleading, particularly over a small sample size.Zero dribbles completed??
Did the stats only start being compiled after 2 mins of play or something??
But yeah perhaps your general point about what he produced against that opposition is fair, especially compared to Tel

Article 31: Player Lists
14c. Long-term injury or illness of an outfield player: during the league phase until matchday 6 included, the club concerned may temporarily replace a maximum of one outfield player and register a new outfield player. …
An injury or illness of an outfield player is considered long-term if it lasts at least 60 days as of the day the injury or illness occurred. If the outfield player recovers before the end of this 60-day period, the player remains nonetheless not eligible to participate in any UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League), until the end of such period.
The club must provide UEFA with the necessary medical evidence in one of UEFA's official languages. Before confirming the replacement, UEFA may require further medical examination of the outfield player by an expert appointed by UEFA at the club's expense. Once the injured or ill outfield player is fit to be fielded again, he becomes eligible and/or can resume his position in place of his substitute, who must consequently be removed from the list. The return of the original outfield player must be announced to the UEFA administration at least 24 hours before the next match in which the original outfield player is due to play.

I generally prefer Odobert to Tel, I see more potential from him long term. However yesterday Tel came on and showed what Odobert needed to. He came on and really imposed himself, he was very direct. Odobert did keep the width but he had loads of opportunities to spin off the RB especially on some of the breaks we had. You could see it live but Odobert never made the run inside the defender. As I said in the match thread I found his performance quite disappointing as it was an opportunity to impress, whereas Tel did in his short time on the pitch.Bit harsh to say Odobert was poor. Tel is direct, Odobert is indirect. They complement each other well as alternatives for different opponents or phases of the game.I generally prefer Odobert to Tel, I see more potential from him long term.
