What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Theo Hernandez, Osimhen and Rafa Leao. Bring in any of them and I would be happy. All of them would come to us imo. Bring one in the winter, and the other 2 in the summer and we will be fighting for trophies.

For people not to get their hopes up. It's extremely unlikely we or any one else will be doing any significant strengthening in January. Maybe something happens, but don't have a meltdown if it doesn't.

Yes Udogie is first choice. Spence isn’t terrible. In fact in some games he’s made a case to be first choice. Being able to cut inside can have benifits. Your sample size is very limited but you should be able to acknowledge Spence’s ability after watching him for a year, as recognised by the England team management.

Understand the man's point (and the general point of wanting another LB)...it has zero to do with ability. Spence is a fine player. It is balance. A right-footed LB will always look inside, their body-shape is always looking inside, and it is far easier to squeeze a right-footed LB. Just see the difference for the likes of Xavi when Udogie plays; he gets to drift into those half spaces as Destiny can create the width...

Those would be some additions. Osimhen would be outrageous, even if only for a season or two. A superb finisher and with such pace.

in order of priority:

1. New LCB (younger than Udogie)
2. If not trying Gray in CM, a new Creative CM (hopefully, de ketalare)
3. Upgrade on Richy (OK if older and than solanke) and bring veliz back next season
4. New LWF (send Odobert on loan)

yep its going to get crowded when players return from injury, but we HAVE to make CL places this year and put pressure on all players.

We can no longer afford Osimhen's wages. Also as a Nigerian and seeing how some fans take shots at players who put country above club, I am not sure I want him at Spurs.

It looks like we have decided to go for Ivan Toney if one believes the media gossip on BBC.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank could look to reunite with 29-year-old Al-Ahli and England striker Ivan Toney - who he managed at Brentford - in January

What do you see in Leao?

He's looked terrible everytime I've seen him. A stepover king with no product whatsoever
I have never seen him before for a full game, watched him against Roma at the weekend and he was so good. I imagine he is inconsistent otherwise we wouldn't have a chance with him, but he is definitely better than what we have - they were running scared of him all game....

You are right, but to be fair history tells you we do some very good deals in January. Danso being the latest one....

I really hope not, disaster waiting to happen.

Can be useful to have that extra option to cut in, depending on formation, opposition etc. Better two different options rather than clones? Possibly yes, once the side settles. Glass half full....

Yes in some games. In others cutting inside can also be effective.

What would you do with Spence? Sell him?

Play him on the right and left
He will still get 30 games a season but in the right games

No.
Of course I would not sell Spence.
I'd rotate him with Porro more and certainly, on occasion if it fits, play him elsewhere.
Of course we want options, but currently we only have one leftt-footed left-back which is a bit of an issue IMO.
His effectiveness is NOT in question. Our squad depth is.
