If you think there are only 3 players in the league better than Richarlison then you are either intentionally playing dumb or simply not as smart as you think you are.View attachment 20697

I would play him off the left. Muani CF. Kudus right.
I don't see him as a CF, his hold up play is non-existent, I see him as our best option at LWF at the moment (and backup CF). We have Chelsea up next, and I sure want his fighting mentality in that.If you think there are only 3 players on the league better than Richarlison then you are either intentionally playing dumb or simply not as smart as you think you are.
He may have scored 3 goals (including 2 in the first game of the season) and two assists but in most matches he does not give us much.
If he is truly as good as you are trying to suggest then I guess as he has about 20 months left on his contract you would implore Spurs to offer him a new contract? Well you are on your own.
A decent back up striker does not cut it when we have as many injury problems as we do with our first choice central striker.Think he showed yesterday that he's a decent backup option as a striker. Sure, he didn't have a particularly good game. But he also came really close to scoring at least a couple of times. If we play similarly well, or better (which we should realistically hope for with more of our best players back in) and create chances and situations like that he'll score at a decent rate while also having other good moments and being a bit of a pain for the defenders.
Good enough for where we want to be, maybe not. But as a backup striker who can also play on the left who has experience and fight in him he's alright.
Obviously if we can upgrade, if we have the money and other areas aren't a greater priority, sure. Upgrade away.
Striker and LWF are now absolutely our priority. A passing capable CM and LB alternative would be next on the list.Think he showed yesterday that he's a decent backup option as a striker. I agree with you re LWF and Striker but unless we can get top quality in January I would rather wait until the summer. Many players will not risk moving 6 months before the world cup.Striker and LWF are now absolutely our priority. A passing capable CM and LB alternative would be next on the list.
I also think we have injured players who we have invested heavily in who will be given an opportunity to earn their place as first choiceI agree with you re LWF and Striker but unless we can get top quality in January I would rather wait until the summer. Absolutely. Although obviously sensible to target players for positions we're lacking in standout quality particularly the January window is as much about availability and opportunity as priorities imo.I agree with you re LWF and Striker but unless we can get top quality in January I would rather wait until the summer. One top player every window is a game changer…. Adding one first 11 player like that is rare for any club but should be the targetAbsolutely. The last thing we need is an expensive not good enough player.
I would be surprised if we got with of the priorities this January, like you say it's both a difficult window under normal circumstances then add the looking WC and the likelihood is you can only bring in a player that is out of favour and wants minutes. Probably not the scale or calibre of player that would satisfy the fan base.I agree with you re LWF and Striker but unless we can get top quality in January I would rather wait until the summer.
