James Maddison

Unless you think he is replacing someone else?
I think he will be starting 6
We will have a B2B player and that missing 10
Kudus right
Not sure left (sticking with Johnson there is daft) and a CF (cannot be Richy again who just is not a CF, although he is better than previous back up options)

Started his own YouTube channel with a lot of behind the scenes content. 50 min long first video. Haven't finished it, but get the sense that he's well suited as a vlogger!

Looks like we get to follow his recovery from the ACL injury up close the upcoming year

Worth a watch to see how they all get along behind the scenes. Just a bunch of blokes having a laugh, Gray and Johnson are clowns. Interesting that nothing includes Frank or any mention of him. Not a spoiler but you are left wondering what happens after the camera stops rolling. Get well soon and come back stronger than ever!

Was a good enough watch, as you say interesting to see Gray & Johnson being the main funny men

I'm only twenty minutes into this video and so many things I love about it (whilst hating the fact he is having to go through it).

First and foremost Maddison is the most underrated nice guy in football I've seen. He wears his heart on his sleeve, not afraid to show and talk about his emotions. And what a positive influence on the dressing room he is. Players he has known for a few years or new players, they all come up to him and Maddison has positive and motivating words for all of them. The way he talks to them, he clearly has a lot of time for EVERYONE at the club.

These videos are doing himself good whilst going through this, but great for us to see the chemistry of the team and also to see what it's like to go through a long term injury as we don't see this side of things and how the team interact.

I hope so badly Madders comes back the player he was, if not better and absolutely smashes it. Don't want to hear anymore negativity around this guy, he brings to much to the team on and off it.....

Don't know about you, but I think Madds must be the hottest favourite of all players currently playing to move into punditry in a few years time. He has intelligence, humour and deep subject matter expertise to be the best pundit around in the next couple of decades after his playing career ends. You can't manufacture that natural charisma he has as we've found out with guys like Neville and Carragher.

I’m also loving BJ and Gray’s bromace. Clearly we all forget they’re just kids in a very grown up world of high pressure and high finance. Must be a really safe environment at Spurs Lodge to allow them to indulge each other. In fact, the whole vibe comes across as a close knit team looking out for each other

What's interesting from that video ....is, if I heard correctly, Madders already had a partial tear in that ACL (whether that was the initial injury he sustained last season, or something that happened further back, I'm not sure). Either way, it's not a great place to be in as an elite footballer. You're probably better off fully snapping it first time round.

Very good insight video, better than any all or nothing docs you see. Obviously this was the early days of the recovery but it sounded positive. Might be back in Late February or maybe April going by the timelines they were saying. Obviously long road ahead.
