I, again, have to address the issue with utterly clueless refereeing, both by the on field officials and VAR. Seriously, WTF are they doing?

How is this not a red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity? Not in control of the ball? No because he's held back ffs!

I’m actually hopeful for the first time in a long time that it could be quite open this season, don’t get me wrong I still think it’s between Liverpool and Woolwich, but I don’t feel there’s a true runaway team just yet.
More importantly, it looks like we may actually have a multi team relegation scrap on this season and not just the three promoted teams making up the numbers before pitifully going down.

Don't come at me again with the "best it's ever been" argument. The lack of quality in top level football is so laid out there for all to see.
We're six games in, we were 4 points off the top at this stage two seasons ago and 5 points off at this stage last season.
It will be Liverpool and the Goons out in front by a good margin come the closing stages, perhaps Emirates Marketing Project too if they have got their act together....

Surely the last person to touch it is technically in possession...so anything he does after that is irrelevant unless its serious foul play. (Stupid follow thru etc).
It can be both contact and a dive. Refs are too hesitant to book for even the most blatant of dives.
There is no way any kind of contact can send him spinning and pin wheeling like that, therefore he should be booked.
Joelinton won't make half time at this rate. As much as I enjoy seeing it, he's throwing his whole weight into tackles about 2 seconds late
