A very good point and a bit of a political trap that the last tory government AND this current government have fallen into.
If you follow Farage most of his stuff put out to his base and wider on social media isn't about the boats. It is about legal migration. In his words, the numbers are unprecedented and unimaginable and you wonder why you can't get a house, why you can't get a doctor's or a dentist appointment. You wonder why all the local schools are oversubscribed. He speaks really articulately, very powerfully about this topic and it really resonates.
Yet in Parliament and with the mainstream media, most of what he talks about is the boats. And as such, as that is what makes headlines, it is what has driven tory and labour policy over the last few years.
But ultimately its a successful distraction as neither tory nor labour have even attempted to come up with a plan to tackle the real problem. Partly that is because of course there are still those in both parties that feel uncomfortable in going hard on the issue and some like with the new Green leader that think we should focus on talking about the benefits of immigration.
What these people don't seem to realise is that argument was utterly lost years ago. A significant majority of people now feel like there is zero benefit in current immigration numbers. AND it IS a numbers game - if the bath is overflowing and you think the answer to the problem is to stand there and talk about the health benefits of water and bathing rather than turning the tap off and taking the plug out then you're a f*cking macaron and the majority of people will see you as exactly that.

No I didn’t say I don’t like Muslims, I do question Islam as a religion and its leader “Supposedly the best example to man kind”. Thanks for free speech that I can have an opinion on it, and any other religion of my choosing.

There is no denying the media make up a narrative but there is enough evidence out there, much provided by Tommy himself which shows what kind of guy he is.
Being caught on camera calling a taxi driver a "p4ki" makes me think there is absolutely a theme with him.
Beating up an off duty cop who intervened whilst he about to assault his then girlfriend, amongst levels of violence make me question him even more. I mean, you could ask why he was not concerned about women then............
He is clearly, by his own boasting a HUGE drug taker, which is ironic because the money spent on drugs in this country gets filters back to.........yep you guessed it, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
The guy is a hypocrite, absolutely is a racist and a prolific criminal, thats nothing to do with media profiling, thats just facts given fact based evidence.
If people want to hold him up as a leading voice for their own concerns, then I seriously question those people themselves. I would be running a mile from any association with someone with his track record

I would say people have the ability to grow up.
My mate growing up called me a in the heat of an argument. Don’t make him a racist or a bad person. In the same token a Pakistani chap physically assaulted him on camera just for driving in Luton.
Many many people take drugs or have taken drugs in there lives at one time or another, some drugs better than others. I don’t think that is current news either.
And the rest of it is not current either. It’s amazing how normally people are excused and condemned with different agendas.
If a footballer did any of the above I’ve seen plenty people either say that he is scum or should be given a second Chance.

As for your last statement, absolutely I have flaws in life, like everyone, but I most definitely choose my allegiances and people I hold in good standing alot more carefully than you seemingly do.
