THis one shook me badly for some reason, well with good reason but more than others. Growing up watching him as a warrior in the ring, to apparently end his own life just made me sit last night and reflect.
Then I saw a post that 25% of all men have considered ending their own life in the past year, thats just a stat that floored me.

I'm the same as you, I loved watching him fight was a great era and this has saddened me
I met him in Ibiza this summer, he took 5 mins to chat to me and much around with my little girl, absolute top bloke

I find it so sad and tragic that anybody is in that bad a place they feel the need to end their own life
Usually when the police say "There are no suspicious circumstances" or similar, they mean suicide.

You have accidental suicide. How many have we seen had a drink taken a few valium and just didn't wake up.
Officially that's recorded as the same thing but not always reported. Usually the police will use terms such as "tragic accident" to describe that.
"No suspicious circumstances" is usually (but not always) code for suicide without putting the family through saying it publicly.

It's a terrible tragedy, people need to be able to talk about their problems without being judged, I'm not saying this is the case with him but in general. My grand-aunt took her own life and I can't remember hearing any of the family talking about after that, I suppose it was because we were catholic and it was a great shame in the family.
