Highly doubtful. Being in the champions league is a big factor in the level of player we've been able to be in the mix for this summer. Doubt Paulinha would have come either. We might have been able to do Kudus but I bet it made it easier

Yep, the quick double touch, that gets himself out of trouble, and sets him on his way, all in one move. Also rare to see someone dribble through the middle of defence and shoot (if only for Spurs if it's common elsewhere)?

The combination of dribbling, combination play, vision (head up rather than head down) and good ball striking is rather rare. Maddison has some of that combination.
If Simons signs and fulfills his potential he'll be a special player for us. Or top top as some would say.

Take the last 20 shots of any player, and I don't think it would look very different. In fact 3 of the last 20 shots resulted in a goal. I think that is pretty good. Not like those were massive goal scoring opportunities.
