I'm sure I've read somewhere from reliable journalists that Paz is not that difficult a deal to pull off for anyone that is interested in paying what Como and Real Madrid want. I feel though that Paz is very much a "not for the now" investment given significant doubts over his ability to come in and do a job in the premier league - bit like Bryan Gil. Which means that I think while he's possibly on some kind of list at the club if he is our no. 1 AM target i'd be very disappointed in the club.

Wasn't he one of the best players in his position last season in Serie A, while playing for Como?
Your first line did make me smile: reliable journalists claim that if you just pay the amount that both Como & Real Madrid say then it's easy to buy him. Impressive work from those media paragons there!

Haha yeah I think its more that there is a fairly quick deal to be done there. Whereas for example with Savinho that is not a quick easy deal as some within ManCity need convincing to sell whereas both Como and Real Madrid are willing to do business on established terms.

I hope so.
Though in the small amount I was reading/watching about Paz, there was a line that Real are very keen to keep him on their books and so only a loan, or purchase with set buyback, would be considered.
I'm not sure what to make of it. Real have Brahim Diaz, GUler and Mastantuono as well as other players who could easily move into a central role f needed. On one hand, Paz might be able to be convinced that the queue ahead is too big and it's a good professional move. On the other, if he really is that good, then both he and Real might be backing him to win the battle for competition.
I've not seen enough to even come close to knowing

Well he moved from the 3rd best league in the world up to the 2nd best league last season, and was immediately one of the players in the league, so he's shown he can transition. He's physically big, which probably helps him if he does move to the EPL.

It’s turning into the transfer window equivalent of the year we appointed Nuno as manager.
Didn’t you hear levy say that we are more ambitious than ever and have had a taste of victory and will be going for the league and champions league… as far so good we are 2/2 in the league and still in the CL. The window hasn’t closed yet and I’m sure Levy’s looking at our squad and thinking that we may just be able to get away with it

And at how much in wages he has saved since Sonny left and he hasn’t had to pay any new players
