Under pressure, had to check his run. Didn't get it in the corner, but got quite a lot of power on the shot and that made the difference.

Definitely a chance that players miss with some regularity even.

Absolutely. And he's been doing that for several years now, opponents should be very aware of it. Yet he keeps getting it right. Having that threat should open up space for others if we can exploit it.

Still want him to improve and hope he can do that. But labelling him a tap in merchant is at best harsh imo.

And even to the extent it's true being a goalscoring merchant has to be one of the most useful merchants to have.

My thoughts as well he is really underated by some, he has just turned 24 as well so there is plenty of time to improve his overall game.

Seriously? Is that what we are now resorting to? So shall we start crucifying Spence who should have passed to Kudus 5 yards from an open goal but opted to shoot from an impossible angle....

Does that diminish how good Spence has been?
