*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley FC ***

Was great to get to the Lane once again (although due to traffic I didnt think we were making it-ended missing the first 2 mins only)

Nice to the Bill Nick gates in place, lovely touch.

I am certainly having to change a few of my opinions. Thought Kudus was a bit of a 'meh' signing - oh my, how wrong on his 1st two showings, he looks the business.
And Richarlison, would have drove him to any club that made a bid myself, but this Richy of late as awesome, keep it up lad.

Really nice to enjoy an afternoon at the WHL once again

fudge, forgot about the gates. Will have to come back again

It's a much more enjoyable experience visiting this site after a result like today, lots of positively along with useful criticism and no bitching.
Long may it continue.
We will lose but as long as effort is applied and organisation continues then I will just take the losses. Blips will occur.

I lost my head last season because most of the losses were ridiculous and some changes could have prevented the amount we lost or changed them to draws!!

Better second half than first, perhaps partly Burnley getting worse, but still. Some lovely goals, clean sheet, some rust and shortcomings. Well done.

Just me or did Gray impose himself more on the game in the second half (until subbed). Thought he did better, but may just be me.
He did better in second half on average. Needs to learn the positional discipline to play that DM role although that may be Frank's tactical instruction to not remain there.

It's the individual errors we need to cut out, Postercoglu could be responsible for tactic or system and it's my belief a few players were hiding behind that rather than accepting their own failings. Much as I admire Sarr and think there is a big player in there he made 2 blind passes to Porro which were intercepted, cut those errors out and we will be a force.

Well the last three games were quite a display of the team and TF's capabilities - TF is living up to expectations as a defence first but also attacking minded coach, who reads the game well knows how to maximize the use of available talents.

Its Burnley but we've seen how the team is so much more organised and efficient under TF. The balance between defence and attack is just right.
The goals seem to be tailor made for Richy and Johnson - played to their strengths.

Hopeful we get more reinforcements and back TF. A draw against Arsenal, losing the shootout to PSG and 3-0 Burnley home seems to suggest that we are going to be capable of fighting for CL places - provided the players stay fit and we have higher quality depth compared to last season.

Kudus is a 100mil pound player already under TF

Agreed. Rom made silly passes too. Maybe even if we cut it down to maybe 2 mistakes for whole team we could get away with it. But they are only human!

No, but I was surprised by Porro. Thought he would have put in a quicker pace.

But I guess he didn't need to get forward as much

Yeah, you can't see from that chart whether the top speeds were going forwards or backwards. Perhaps it's backwards and Porro never allowed himself to get into that foot race. I do remember balls in behind him where VDV or Romero were the ones sprinting.

Also, mad to think Dele has broken 13km in Poch's system. We're not even >11km in this one.

Trying very hard not to get carried away by our performances under Frank but there has definatly been a uplift in our overall game. Against PSG and yesterday there were lots of things to be happy with. Still a lot of work for sure but the signs are looking promising.

Onward and upwards. COYS.
