ITK Thread

There was a poster on Twitter that reckoned he had proof that most of the Spurs ITKs are all one person with multiple accounts lol

Yes and i bet the plan is to get an increased following before switching the narrative as the window closes and say that "everything was lined up but Levy as usual put the spanner in the works etc"

I look forward to someone asking him about Dibley which he went balls deep on saying we were definitely signing him IIRC

D1:

Paz is not a target and right now eze is arsenal bound

Re 10 the plan was mgw we do not have a back up plan currently

we want another senior midfielder and center half there will be at least 2 more signings
solanke should be ok for start season . Udogie is resting and see how he recovers

Another flimflam merchant.... As if any club would have only one player identified and no backup plan. Especially when the original plan was going to cost £60m :D

If we have no backup plan(s) for our priority targets then that would be a damning indictment of our transfer department
Yeah seems entirely unlikely that we went into the summer without several potential targets for each role we wanted to fill.

What I could see happening is us thinking that a Maddison understudy could be signed if we didn't get MGW. The Maddison injury then changing the situation enough and us not having a plan in place for that.

All of that just speculation, without looking to express any belief in what a "ITK" is saying is going on.

Thinking about our terrible creative midfielder situation at the moment, it might make sense for the club to try to loan in a player to cover this position for the season. A slightly leftfield option would be Carlos Soler. He didn't pull up any trees at West Ham last season but he is a very good player who is surplus to requirements at PSG and a very creative passer. He would also have adapted to the PL last season at West Ham.

Doing something like this wouldn't use up any of our transfer budget and this sort of player should be able to come in and make an impression right away providing cover until Kulu returns and competition from then on.

Alternatively, from the same club, Marco Asensio could be a great signing. Problem is that he is out of contract at PSG in a year's time so unlikely to be available on loan but he is the sort of calibre of player we should be looking for.

That would be better than nothing in that role.

I still think plan A should be trying to get in the best possible creative #10 the money we have can get us.

Xavi Simons is available and a very good player. Suspect we don't want to pay the big wages these types of players demand however.

Oihan Sancet at Bilbao is a fine player and moving to us would be a step up.

De Kettelaere is top class and players can always be prized away from Atalanta.

Rodrigo Mora at Porto is an incredible young talent. Only 18 years old but already good enough. Would take a very large bid though. I expect him to be at Chelsea in a year's time.

The Ukranian player, Georgiy Sudakov, is a very good footballer and I think he would be gettable for a not too ridiculous fee.

Bilal El Khannouss, who we have been tentatively linked to, is a really good young player and would be a good signing for us.

Paz we've been linked with and is a very good player. Milot we missed out on (crazy that we were never in for him at that release clause).

Also, as mentioned in last post, Asensio from PSG. 1 year left and surplus to requirements there. Will clearly want a big wage but should be available for a lowish fee.
