Tyler Dibling

Except he hasn’t shown anything of Moores level at any age group
I understand a bias for our youngsters but this is pretty wild... Dibling starred in the premiership with some outstanding games against top class opposition last year. Mikey struggled in most of the games he played last year.

Not so much on the right - Moore, Odobert and Tel are all lefties.

We could buy and loan him now, then bring him in as hopefully an upgrade on Johnson in a year's time
Johnson
Kudus
Yang
Kulu
That’s odd the top of my head
He is nothing like Johnson who we also need to think smart about. For me he is a guy who we should be moulding in the false 9… wissa role but that’s another conversation

Kudus is the only 1 i see having a future with us in that position. Kulu's our main ACM now. Johnson as you say needs to find a new role, maybe as a forward. And Yang i think might just be a cheap punt on commercial revenue, but we'll see

All comps. France u21s, spurs and burnley.
He tends to play ACM for France, but that's to accommodate Tel on the left.

As 9/10 players are right footed, 9/10 wide players prefer to play on the left. So lots of those do get levered in on their lesser side, esp as they are emerging.

But just watch him over the season, he's 5 times the player when operating from his natural left side

Could that be down to the 18 months of age difference between them though?

In the 23/24 season, Dibling amassed a grand total of 7 mins for the Saints first team in the Championship when they got promoted. He then followed that up with over 2000 mins in the PL.

Last season Moore amassed about 700 mins for the Spurs first team in the PL.

The 18-21 age range really is a hard one to call. It could well be that Moore is on a very similar trajectory. It's really hard to pick their eventual ceilings. I guess you just have to trust Lange's process.

Only because our balance last season was about 6 lefties to 1 rightie.

Left has always been his natural and preferred side. And where he's been looking really good in pre-season too
He is left sided but can play right
Every player can play on the other side but they ain’t as effective
Sonny was horrible on the right and he is genuinely 2 footed
It’s just how players play

Define outstanding ?
And I like the guy
I think because he has shown he can play and can pass really well with the outside of his left foot there is a player there.
But they want more money than we paid for Tel
Mikey didn’t struggle when played on the left. But when he was shoved on the right he did. Like son, like Odobert (played well in 1 game there), like richarlison the season before.

I don't think Mikey was really introduced to a line-up playing with 10 of the normal first team either. It was such a strange season with injuries that there was constant change in the personnel. There were also questionable tactics for those wide positions in the team.

I'm hoping he has a blast in Glasgow.

Main position RW.

He was crap on the right for France in the U21s. He can do a job there but his best performances where he looks like he can make an impact at least for us have been in the left.
