If we have another £50m to spend I would like to think we could get someone a bit more accomplished - that being said if its Frank who wants him and its to suit his system, great.

Who are we going to release though - the squad is bulging at the seams.

Id wack it on Osimhen's salary and take a chance on a real game changer in that position

Wissa won't cost £50m. My guess is £20m to £30m.

If we do somehow have money to spend on a centre forward then Sesko would be a good option now that Arsenal have moved on to Gyokeres, though I think he'd be more like £70m than £50m.

Dusan Vlahovic could be another smart signing. It seems Juventus want rid, though his wages there are pretty eye watering so likely beyond our means.

Samu Aghehowa at Porto has a lot of talent but is probably a year or two away from a move to one of the big european leagues.

The other potential smart signing could be Ricardo Muniz from Fulham - he only has a year left and has proven he can play PL football, not the most inspiring choice though.

I agree that Johnson could be our “Wissa” (and may even have been Brentford’s “Wissa” if Brentford originally got him instead of us)

I agree.... I am convinced Vlahovic will tear the Premiership... has all the tools and is a more like for like alternate for Solanke. Surprised no-one seems to be linked to him seeing as Juve want to get rid.
