It only doesn't make sense because we would be getting him in (if it happened around this time) before we had got rid of any of our current CMs.
He would be our best CM instantly IMO...

I can't say I watched him much, I don't watch any Forest for fact they are so boring to watch

I think MGW would be a fantastic signing for Frank. I didn't feel he was a great fit for Ange, but do think he'd be great for this next chapter. I've always been a massive fan.
Not since Dele's days have we had a really talented AM that would happily sprint 50-70 yards back into his own half and defend like a 6 or 8. Madds never does. Kulu hasn't got the sprint or defensive capability either.

He is an AM and plays occasionally on the right. We've Madders and Kulu for that position already and others that can fill in. A DM is a bigger priority.

Found them quite exciting when I watch them myself. Defended well and attack with pace and purpose.
He's the one I'd thought we'd go for originally instead of Johnson.

That's fine, but in the real world it's not going to be a swap and it's unlikely that Madders or Kulu is off. 60m for a position that we are covered in... Would rather see the money spent on an DM and FB. Unless there a few deals lined up for players leaving then I don't see us being able to do that.

Sadly i do tend to agree with you.
Mentioned it above but The Athletic guy responding on the Ornstein post covers them and knows what the craic is at the club so defo more to this than rumour
