United really has a fudging delusion aura around them.

Somehow they will get rid of all these players, somehow they will buy all these other players, somehow they will build a new stadium in this economic environment, somehow the manager who had a worse record than Derby when they went down will come good ....

I think he is a good manager but there are so many issues there
Sometimes they look like a team could be made out of them but ig wouldn’t be a good one without a lot of buys

My biggest issue with them is

- Everyone, media, fans, even managers say "the players aren't good enough"
- Then, on occasion, for a few games that matter, either to save manager (OGS, ETH) or to win a cup they turn it on

That second bit is the problem, the squad needs improving but the biggest issue is motivation/commitment/playing for the badge not wage, and I don't think any manager is going to solve that.

Over the last two years i watched him closely whenever i get a chance to watch Bournemouth play.
His touch and decision-making and touch can be downright awful one minute and then spring into being prime Ousmane Dembele or Robben the next.
Hi kinks are so bad he'd frustrate us so much he'd be at risk of being of being another sc.apegoat (a la Royal). In fact, many a top 6 club would have similar reactions imo, not just us.
At Bournemouth the pressure and spotlight aren't so concentrated he kind of gets away with it.
We are just not ready for such randomness, and i mean absolute randomness not in a good way

Not gonna argue they aren’t fair calls
I like him
I think his running and work rate would really help us
I wonder how much is their style of play too
Although I’m not sure of any links so far because we dont have the man in charge

Their players aren't good enough don't get it twisted. They've had some players who are capable of moments but good well balanced players? No they lack this. They are actually awful if you watch them. The only player from their squad I would have any interest in is Amad and that's damming when you consider we finished 17th.

Since they got Bruno, have they signed a single player that you could really say has been a success? Lisandro Martinez perhaps
