Europa League Victory Parade Friday 5.30pm

I've been looking at the videos and pictures my son took this morning and they were amazing, he told me my grandson was so excited at being there, I wish I could have been there as he's like me very reserved in his celebrations and I'd have loved to see his reactions. This is what this game can do to you.

Not to start that old debate again but you don't get scenes like we've seen for the past few days from finishing 4th.

Glorious. Glory glory Tottenham Hotspur.
Was thinking the same, I understand that the season is a hard slog and to finish in the top 4 is a super accomplishment and not easy. But actually winning a trophy, for players and fans alike the memories you create are remembered for years and you ask any player winning trophies is what they really want.

I'd also add maybe just me I don't know - but bringing home a European trophy feels a bit more special, a bit more unique. The whole thing yesterday was first class, I admit I was only planning on watching the first few minutes but was totally engrossed and watched the whole 3 hours, was brilliant seeing the players letting loose and the fans too - after a season of mainly negativity and 17 years of hurt it was a fantastic tonic and something all players and fans deserve....

It’s not even a debate.

I’ve never felt like I do now from a 2nd, 3rd or 4th placed finish. Poch, Harry, Conte all brought me joy watching their teams, especially Poch, but for sheer euphoria, this is unmatched in my lifetime supporting the club.

And it feels like we’re back where we belong. We should be winning trophies.

The UEFA coming hand in hand with a CL place is part of it though.

We wouldn’t have felt the same way winning the Conference Cup thing, or the Carling Cup imo.
Nope we wouldn’t and that’s because the Europa League is a much better cup than those other 2 even without the recently added CL bonus. my order of merit:

CL / League (equal)
.
Europa League
.
.
FA Cup
.
.
.
League cup
.
.
.
.
Conference league

Edit: forgot the FA Cup, updated now.!

Bang on for me.

I forget at times we finished 2nd to Chelsea a few seasons ago, and yes it was a decent achievement its not up there with my supporting highlights.

Beat City 3-2, UEFA Cup 1984, Beating Forest 2-1, Beating Chelsea 2-1, Beating Wolves in the UEFA Cup Final and even the scrappy wins v QPR and Blackburn are bigger highlights

I only manage to watch the parade up until arrival at the stadium, mad scenes!

Was there a Oh when the Spurs version with trumpet during the celebrations? Anyone know when?
