It's not pace, it's the ability to beat a man or the ability to thread a pass. We lack both, so it's a lot of passes into feet as opposed to passes into space for a player to run on to.
United do have the passing range from Bruno and Maguire so are trying to spread the play and with Amad they have a tricksy player on the ball. Luckily they aren't particularly good so haven't been able to take advantage.
