Fixture & Ticket News 2024/25

How are these reselling sites allowed to operate? Focus needs to be on them primarily imv - can't blame an individual if they see tickets exchanging hands for several hundred and thinking they want a piece of that. (Re specifically targetting the Liverpool game which is a bit of a unique situation)
Aren't most of them owned by Boehly !!

UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL
APPLICATIONS

The second leg of our UEFA Europa League semi-final on Thursday will confirm whether we progress to the final of the competition, which will take place in Bilbao on Wednesday 21 May.

Due to the short timeframe between the second leg and our potential involvement in the final, it is necessary for the ticket application process to begin now – on the proviso that our participation is subject to Thursday’s result.

We can therefore confirm the following details about how the ticketing process will operate, should we progress:

Season Ticket Holders – Ticket Applications NOW OPEN

Season Ticket Holders who would like to attend the final, should we qualify, will be required to submit an application via their e-ticketing account.

Applications are NOW OPEN – and will remain open until 10am on Friday 9 May.

In the event that we progress to the final, tickets will be allocated in line with the Club’s ticketing points system. The points total displayed in supporters’ accounts as of Tuesday 6 May 2025 will be the number used to determine ticket eligibility. Given the short application window, it will not be possible to consider any requests to review or amend individual points totals.

We will be unable to accept late ticket applications under any circumstances – we therefore encourage all Season Ticket Holders who wish to attend the final, should we progress, to apply now.

Please be reminded that making an application does not guarantee a ticket. The Club will not be liable for any costs incurred should an application be unsuccessful.

Ticket Sales – UEFA Website and App

All match ticket sales for the final will be handled directly by UEFA, with supporters required to purchase directly through their Ticketing Portal.

Should we progress following Thursday’s game, we will contact all who applied for a ticket to confirm whether their application was successful. We will also provide successful applicants with further information about the ticket purchasing process.

Once purchased, UEFA will also be responsible for the distribution of match tickets ahead of the final, with all tickets distributed digitally. Their dedicated Help Centre will be able to offer support with queries relating to ticket purchase and distribution.

No match tickets will be sold by Tottenham Hotspur – supporters will therefore not be required to provide payment details via their e-ticketing accounts at the time of application.

Group Applications

During the application stage, supporters will be able to apply for tickets in groups. Successful applicants will then need to follow a separate process in order to purchase tickets together.

We will communicate full details regarding this process to successful applicants in due course, should we progress.

Aston Villa are "not happy" their Premier League game against Tottenham has been brought forward two days to 16 May to allow Spurs more time to prepare for their possible appearance in the Europa League final.

Villa's director of football operations Damian Vidagany said there was "clear prejudice" against the club in this decision, but hoped that would be remembered if they needed help with fixture scheduling in the future.

Spurs were due to travel to Villa Park on 18 May for a 14:15 BST kick-off but submitted a request to the Premier League for the game to be played earlier in order for Ange Postecoglou's side to have longer to prepare should they reach the Europa League final on 21 May.

"Fixture changed and honestly, not happy," Vidagany posted on social media. "But it could be even worse. We really pushed - everyone in the club at different levels - with solid and fair grounds to protect our fans (our main task and duty) and keep the Spurs match on Sunday. Nothing against Spurs.

"We didn't feel this support last season or this one. European football is not only demanding for English clubs on the verge of the finals."

Vidagany added that moving the game to the Friday, kicking off at 19:30, was the "least damaging" option they could get, with Wednesday or Thursday considered as alternatives.

Villa's director of football Monchi echoed Vidagany's sentiments, saying the switch "was not what they wanted" and that fans "didn't deserve" the disruption.

Tottenham are 3-1 ahead in their semi-final against Bodo/Glimt and could meet Manchester United, who are 3-0 up in their tie with Athletic Bilbao, in the final. Both second legs will be played on Thursday.

The change of date for Spurs' game at Villa will remain even if Postecoglou's side are knocked out and do not reach the final in Bilbao.

Villa objected to the request for the alteration, citing no precedent for the Premier League to move fixtures to help clubs in European competition.

It was pointed out to BBC Sport at the time that Villa had played every three or four days during April as a result of their participation in the Champions League and FA Cup.

Another reason for the objection was that it is Villa's final home game of the season and could include a number of pre-organised family activation activities that would not be possible if the game was held on the evening of a school night.

Tottenham originally asked for the game to be moved to the evening of 15 May but the Premier League has confirmed it will kick off at 19:30 BST on the following evening.

Manchester United's game against Chelsea on the same night will kick off at 20:15, meaning the two possible Europa League finalists would have the same amount of recovery time.

brutal with a potential UEFA final coming up....

Completely right though

It's not brutal. It's nothing more than they deserve!
