That is a quarter of the squad and 2/3 startersRomero is out until next week at earliest
van de Ven until mid December
Moore still recovering from virus
Richarlison won’t be back until until new year
Odobert out for “fair chunk of the season”
That is a quarter of the squad and 2/3 starters
Quite scary
YepAnd with 2 games per week until the new year means we certainly cannot afford another injury in CMF or CB, well unless Gray steps up like the new King / Dier!
Although Archie might have to slot in as LB for Europa games so Udogie isn’t run into the ground.
Looks like Johnson is our only senior RWF for the time being with Son and Werner rotating at LWF.
Lankshear is suspended for Roma game next Thursday so Solanke is going to be covering a lot of ground this week.
At least we have plenty of goalies and #8s!
So when we get told a week it’s 3Speaking after training on Wednesday, Ange gave us this update: “Cuti is getting better. He’s a lot closer. We’re hoping he’ll be out there training with the group with a bit of luck by the back end of this week, if not, definitely next week.
"Mikey’s the other one, and we’re still taking it slowly with him, it’s still probably a couple of weeks before he’ll be ready to get properly back into it. Micky’s on course, working hard, training. It’s day by day with him, we have to make sure he ticks off all the boxes before he gets integrated into the squad.”
The trio join Guglielmo Vicario, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison on the sidelines

One thing I’d look at is how many are happening home vs awayCan't wait for this thread to disappear into obscurity. What a nightmareish season this has been in terms of injuries.
Having our two most creative midfielders get injured within probably 30 hours is just ridiculous. Just like when all our centre backs or our entire left side was injured at once, our injuries always seem to be clustered - less so spread out evenly among players in different positions.
Top priority for the club really should be to find out why we've suffered so many injuries and what we can do to prevent it from happening again - whether it's hiring a new medical team, relaying our pitches or digging up the ancient burial site beneath NWHL and perform an exorsism.
I thought the same when I read those comments. The club should be all over looking into that already. One thing I’d look at is how many are happening home vs away
With the comments I’ve heard about our pitch I do wonder if that is having an effect
