Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

He is either a right wing nut job or an immigrant using cultural appropriation. Like those horrible whiteys who put their hair in dreadlocks.

We have worked out he is the enemy now we just have to work out why he is the enemy. Then we can move on to the next one.

Love this cancel culture, can see why the kids are into it. Gives you a feeling of smug superiority.

He's the enemy because he is a horrible capitalist playing on the gullibility of the poor working class with his jingoist mural.
Come the glorious revolution his day of reckoning will come, and there will be no blind fold or last cigarette for the likes of him!

It is funny that telegraph readers are talking about frequenting not just a chip shop but a chip shop owned by an immigrant.

Send the buggers back.

I'm thinking of the amazing father Ted episode. When the local asks him if we are meant to hate the Chinese as well now.

Got an Irish wife and she always recites the episode to me. Dont think she actually hates the Chinese mind.

When have we? We vote for people who don't do what they promise and then elect an other group who don't do what they promise and think that process is democracy just because we can criticise them.
THIS! It beggars belief that someone can make a load of promises and then simply not follow through with them. What sort of stupid system is that!

I hope when Labour get into power they actually bring about some change, they're so terrified of losing that they're basically stripping everything away. Changes are needed in pretty much all areas and the majority of people are crying out for them. Starmers team don't seem to have much of a vision when a bit of positive change is really needed.

I’m sure they will.

The smart play is just to sit back and let the Tories keep making mistakes.

Reeves was singing the praises of Thatcherism today. Astounding really considering they are the Labour party. There is no pivot coming.

They just trying to reflect the majority of voters right of centre views, people want changes as long as they don't cost them in terms of their status and finances.

There doesn’t seem to be many people left with those views, if there was, they would be polling much better.

The problem is you need to go in hard at the start of the parliament with your big moves, otherwise inertia and events kick in and they end up in the long grass.

It will be very hard to get the important things like renationalisation, green energy, replacement of student loans etc. through when they aren't in their manifesto.
