OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Palace

Has Dragusin ever played as an RB before? Let alone one who is expected to play as a pseudo playmaker?

Or is your thinking 'anyone is better than Royal'? šŸ¤£

Played there twice as far as i can see (whoscored)

The entire UK rail system is the same, fudging gouging charlatans the lot of em.

It's an absolute laughing stock compared to other European / modern rail networks.

I'm on a mainline into Liverpool Street, it comes from Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk
I reckon at most there are direct weekend trains for maybe 30% of the year, the rest of the time it's replacement buses etc
So much money that could be coming into London, into the Economy won't be because people will not sit on a bus/tube for 2/3 hours longer each way and I don't blame them

Hope we've used the break well, that players like Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski and Son are moving towards better form. Also hope both or at least one of Porro and Udogie will be back.

Wolves game was disappointing, could really do with a bounce back in terms of performance and showing real signs of clicking back into gear.

Given his appetite for dribbling past opponents and forging forward with the ball, I'm thinking Romero might make a decent RB replacement for Porro. Drop Dragusin in at RCB and let Romero get into those midfield positions he clearly enjoys visiting. If Romero doesn't have the pace of Porro or Royal, Dragusin has a very decent set of wheels and can easily get over to deal with balls played over and behind Romero.
Agreed if Porro remains out and we'd want to play someone other than Emerson there. Would also give Dragusin a start. Could perhaps also play one of the midfielders there, Bentancur perhaps.

I think Ange would just play Emerson again though and can definitely understand that if it happens.

Is there any evidence that Dragusin would be more suited to playing the inverted RB role than Emerson? Is there any evidence that we have someone more suited to the inverted RB role than Emerson who can also perform the defensive duties required?

I'm not anti the idea of trying someone else, i'm just not sure who that person is?

Nope, not really. Though in theory it could be that Romero is more suited to that role, or Bentancur/Bissouma perhaps?

I'm not against the idea either as such, but think it will be Emerson. Playing someone in an unfamiliar role for a game or two can be quite risky, won't get the chance to settle in there over time, would be a fairly steep learning curve. Definitely the potential there for someone to mess up in ways Emerson wouldn't.

I expect he wouldn't continually run the ball into trouble or continually pass it sideways and backwards at a slow pace after taking far too many touches

If Udogie is back, Emerson will be absolutely fine. What will be really interesting is if Richy isn't fit, as Sonny goes central; Madders will enjoy that.
Good points and agree. More about the lack of balance with Udogie and Porro out than the backup for either being so bad that we can't play with them on the pitch.

Shame if Richarlison isn't fit, but I have been wanting to see Son centrally again for some time.
