Antonio Nusa

Yeah i mean i wasn't saying it was too much or anything - but it is a lot of money for an 18 year old, the type of money the super clubs pay for generational potential and if that's what this guy is and we're now in a position to be going for these sorts of players then that's really encouraging

Spurs are a super Club… we are one of the richest clubs in the World and we was going to join super League 😂
Im as shoure Nusa is going to be great in PL like I said we should buy Haaland when he was in Redbull.

Its good Ronny Deila say that tottenham would be a good move for Nusa

Who knows?

But Ronny Deila is a Norwegian manager who used to coach Celtic and New York City of MLS. Nowadays, he's with Club Brugge where his filled-out lineup sheets include the name Antonio Nusa.

We paid £10m for Bale and £18m for Modric, which we probably comparable at those times.

Modric was 23 and proven, so a different kettle of fish. In hindsight, he and Eriksen were absolute bargains!

But anyway, you don't have to go that far back. We bought a 19yo Ryan Sessegnon for £25m, in a deal that most people, myself included, were very happy with. Hopefully Nusa will manage a bit better than that.

Both further along in their progression and 2-3 years older? But can see the similarities tbf - this is more along the Vinicious Jnr lines that someone ekse mentioned imo

I remember being chuffed when we signed Sessegnon. Given up on him but still can't believe it did not work out.

I still blame you for that. Bloody Championship scouring ITKs said he was awesome.
Well I have never claimed yo be itk, can't stand those clams.

I actually watch usually 2 French league games a week as I can't really stand much non sport TV. But given up predicting what players will make it and what ones won't.

Do know we should never pay big money for attacking players from France though.

Transfer specialist João Miguel has now provided a fresh update, claiming that the deal is ‘done’ for the summer, with Spurs securing Nusa on a five-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The player will get to fulful his desire to finish the campaign with the Belgian club before joining Tottenham.

Dont know this Miguel or what his track record is..

I agree.

I think it says both something about the position we're in and how highly we rate him if we do end up signing him.

Those were, and still are, crazy people.

But we were never going to get Haaland back then. He was always too closely connected to Manchester to go anywhere else. And our financial uncertainties from the stadium build left us unable to throw high dough at anyone.

Virtually ever transfer is a gamble, there's no one who can say they get it right.
