Yeh Salisu looks like one of those action packed defenders, my only issue is he looks abit feast or famine like Sanchez at times.

I saw somewhere that Soyuncu was off to Athletico, he is rapid quick, or was, did he not have a spate of injuries?

Salisu has all of the physical attributes required and just needs to learn how to defend with more calmness. I think he ideally needs a season or two at a lower level to develop. I can see a club with a good policy buying him and loaning him back to Southampton next season for a year of Champtionship football that I think would do him no end of good.
 
We are going to raid the relegated clubs for bargains ... who would be the pick from soton, Leicester and Everton/ Leeds?

Slightly left field but the young, German international CB at Southampton - Bella Kotchap - could be worth a punt

Walker-Peters would be a useful squad player.
Homegrown. Knows the club. Can play RB or LB /wing back.
But we probably don't need him.

It's hard to say until we have a manager and some kind of idea on formation, style etc.

Saw a report we're ready to sign Lenglet for £20m. Would be odd without a manager.

I'd try to tempt Firmino. Would be a very useful free signing. Unless we think Parrot is ready.

He's leaving Liverpool i think and not sure he'd be a target for the elite clubs so could be a possibility

I'd be surprised if he'd come. We're not going to be the best payers and he won't be starting ahead of Kane....so if its not cash nor football, why would he join us?
