Twitter Arrests have gotten ridiculous

More electronic warriordom...hate twitter...I mean, is it necessary to air your every thought every minute? Obviously, in the case of tossers like this, the answer is a resounding 'no'...but 'arresting' him? Things are getting very, very weird out there...

So many think they're anonymous and absolved of any responsibility on the internet. You have time to think before you hit submit. The more of these ****s that are taken down the better.

I'll save my compassion or concern for those who aren't idiots. Don't think the World will miss him tbh...

As has been said, presumably he's been arrested for the threatening messages, rather than the unpleasant ones. What I don't get with twitter is why people feel the need to send stuff to the people they're talking about all the time?

It's only a small minority of the idiots that gets done. There's so much that goes unpunished.

I remember this guy asking Robbie Keane's wife if they had a murder/suicide pact planned: harryhotspur™ @theboyhotspur

He said a hell of a lot more than the 1st tweet..

There was several threatening tweets to Dalay too

Fair enough, actually glad to hear that as it means Britain hasn't become a (complete) banana republic ;)

Knowing that he also sent death threats it's obvious that the police should get involved. Had he been arrested for what was in the original post though there should have been outrage.

I like twitter. I don't have an account myself as I don't have anything of interest to share with the world, but I think it allows for some great communication that wasn't really possible before (at least not as easily). Of course there are idiots out there, as there is everywhere, but everyone is free to ignore everyone they don't care about and meanwhile get some cool direct information from people you actually want to hear from.

Although I've described it as such, looking at it again I'm not sure if what he said to Daley should really be considered a death threat. He seems a bit off the rails though so maybe it is.

The things the guy has said to other people on twitter seem much more serious and threatening

As Cameron once said " to many tweets make a taco" can not stand the man but he is spot on with that.

teletext is for people who can not stop talking even when they are on their own.

The irony of people saying these sort of things on a message board amazes me.
