Priority positions this window

Sign Edwards for the £52m release clause (we then get £26m of it back due to the 50% sell on clause).

Sign Porro for the £38m release clause.

Sign Kessie or Rabiot if available for circa £15m or do a loan deal.

Swap Emerson for Skriniar who only has 6 months left on his Inter contract.

The first two should be done today if they are our no. 1 targets in those positions. The other two just politely hound Barca/Juve and Inter until they give in.

We don't have a 50% sell on clause. We have a 25% sell on and vitoria has 25%.

We need a top centre back, creative midfielder and ideally two of those with one a squad player and other first team player. We lack any cutting edge. Kulusevski was out today and so we had nothing. I would also get a better forward player with pace to be rotation for Son. Oh and a new goalkeeper as Lloris has been great but seems like he has dropped a couple of levels which is understandable at his age.

Goldilocks as manager, poch and nuno too nice not winners and can't instil it, jose and conte winners but too nasty and upsetting the little dears.
Sigh, its hard being a multi millionaire footballer.

1) A possession based coach who can get the dressing room and fanbase onside again

2) Whatever 1 wants

1. An unselfish midfielder with vision, who can hold the ball without panicking and releasing at the first sight of a white shirt (or whatever colour we're playing in).
2. A CB capable of organizing a defense.
Anything else, including a keeper is second priority. We can build with Lloris in the side for a couple of seasons more, improving on him would be funds better spent on 1 and 2.

What if it isn't? Will you still complain that these players are a problem despite multiple managers having them as their first choices?

What do you think we should do after displays like today?
You should know, we've had plenty of experience of them.

There's no change from what i have told you a hundred times before - there are too many poor players in our team, the problem isn't that the best players have off days from time to time.

Kulusevski option that fits the role and system.
RWB
Right footed centre back that's good on the ball.

More or less in that order. First two of a similar importance and the main two priorities.

Our reliance on Kulusevski is scary.

A younger keeper has really become a priority to me now
The change in defensive confidence at some clubs that have been brave and done that is notable
Pool did it quickly
City rectified their own errors
Chelsea did it
Arsenal did it
We haven’t even attempted it

Don't think we will this window.

Lloris is fine for the rest of the season imo. He's not as good as he once was, but I don't think he's going to be a real liability.

As this is the priorities thread. The three aforementioned are imo more important.

I think a keeper that instilled confidence in the team could fix a lot of things very quickly
One that can pass suddenly opens up different attacking options too
Reflecting on our last 10 or so games, that kind of keeper is a game changer
