Son reacted and TBF thats all anyone wanted. Lets not make out he has not been crap recently because he has but he did what Son does and reacted and proved his is still class, in that respect the drop worked. The kick up the back side he needed.

A lot of sportsmen rely on confidence. I don’t think there’s much difference in talent between Kane and Son but Kane has more confidence so his form doesn’t suffer as much.
Thought he was decent. Issue was defence and midfield constantly giving the ball away, not the forwards.

Which he has been also and TBF in the league what is that? Richy second start? Think you are being hard TBH, Son has been the weak link to now. The benching worked for who it was meant to and that was Son

I did it myself. Actually thought about putting it on a Hat-trick! Damn, that would have been a hefty return. Not complaining though, was decent enough for 1 goal

Sess was brick, Perisic's delivery was good, but his overall performance poor, Bentancur and PEH gave the ball away too often, Kane took his goal well, but spent too much of the game hiding

Son could only react if he had space in front of him to attack.
The last few games including the CL we had Kane leading the line unfortunately slowing things down.
I believe our best attack is Kane supporting Son and Kulu like we did last season - if Kane allows it
Richy should be used as a sub for Kane (heading) , Son (strikes) or Kulu (dribbling). He is a generalist, a utility striker and does not have a particular strong point.

Ok we looked scrappy for large parts of the game (like most of the season, TBF), but we won again, are undefeated in seven PL matches, sit joint first with The Erling Haaland Team, and now Son has found his scoring boots again.
There are plenty of positives despite us not having really clicked yet.

Yep, there is. It doesnt feel like we're playing to our potential at the moment so 17 points after 7 is a nice position to be in
There's a couple other tweaks to the squad next summer which would also take us on another level

Don’t get me wrong, I like Richy and think he has been good so far.
Ultimately those four will be judged on goals, and Richy will get his, I just think this just shows how high the bar is, or at least should be.

Glad that Conte changed to three in midfield, that won the game almost as much as Son. He hasn’t played it for some time.
