** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Forest **

he might just have been disgusted with his own performance, which he should be, rather than at the substitution

he must know how badly he is playing at the minute, he's a liability
But still doesn’t get dropped, it’s unbelievable.

As for Son, him never being dropped regardless of what form he is in is the reason he had that reaction today, acting like a spoilt little bitch.

What were your thoughts on Kane? Because apparently him and Son never score the winner and only ever score to make it 2-0 in a rout I recall you saying once?

Just out of interest, how many games do you give people the benefit of the doubt before your drop them? Is it just the one game? I get Son has been poor so far but ever think Conte might have faith in him because he’s got a lot of credit in the bank? I wouldn’t be disappointed if Son was dropped on Wednesday but if Richarlison has a bad game will you be jumping up and down for him to be dropped too seen as how everyone seemingly has to turn up every single game in order to please you?

I think Richie might play on Wed now that we're getting into the run of games

And I would be fine with that. But Yiddo is on our best players the second they are playing badly as if he expects them to win every game for us and doesn’t seem to get the concept of successful people having more credit in the bank and being given the benefit of the doubt. I thought everyone understood that happens in every walk of life but clearly not.

Only saw second half but thought Son was fine today. Some nice touches and one great ball to Kulu I think. Maybe he'll be benched against West Ham but id have no issue if he plays. Perhaps Conte's comments earlier in the week about everyone dropping out of the starting eleven at some point were very well placed to give him a chance to rest Son.

Jesus, when he's on fire you have loads of people complaining that he doesn't get the credit he deserves. This is an extension of that.

I think I've got it figured out, you're defo Son's brother who was making fun of him for losing in the CL final aren't you!?

Otherwise, it's an odd (yet utterly predictable) point to hone in on. Should he have been ecstatic to have been subbed off?

I’m pretty sure i asked how many of Son’s goals last season were actually winning goals. I have said that neither of them turn up in big games but I don’t think i said Kane never scores a winning goal.

I have never said everyone has to turn up every game but a run of bad form should see you dropped, my issue has been the fact Son has always been fudging awful when he is not on form and all he does is score goals. When you are a player who is shocking when not on form you should be dropped after 3 games even more so when the back up is coming on and doing better than you.
If you are not playing well you should be dropped and have substitute appearances to try and win your place back seeing as though the subs only get 15 - 20 minutes to prove themselves.

He was clearly having a cry that he got subbed off and not because he had a bad game.

What's wrong with what he did? You're absolutely allowed to do as many kickups as you can in football. I don't see how it's any different to keeping hold of the ball near the corner flag or passing it around at the back. If your players get angry for it, that's on them.

That's a losers mentality, player needlessly booked, time wasted and your teams discipline totally gone.
Commenting on another teams standards when you've had more than half your team booked is a laughable and totally clam thing to do.
Hope they go down.

Off the top of my head, he scored at the winner at home to city and West Ham and Villa away and got our only goal against Liverpool away and got the equaliser in the home fixture. But I’m not sure what it matters anyway as most of the time you need a second or a third goal to kill the game off which Son often gets too. In fact, quite often games are tight and you need cushion to kill off the opposition. Case in point today, we needed a 2nd goal to finish them off.

You were on his case last season even when he was in good goalscoring form because he “only scores goals” but he creates chances and often is near the top of the league in assists so it’s inaccurate that he’s some 90s style goal poacher that scores a goal and does nothing for the rest of the game. Joint top scorer in the league last season and that wasn’t enough to please you.

If you take the ball to one side and sit on it whilst awaiting a challenge, you will receive a hefty challenge.
Likewise if you do little kick-ups with nobody near you.
You aren't trying to create a goal or progress the ball, you are mocking the opposition for being poor and will receive a hefty challenge.

Whether Richy knows that and was trying to get a player booked or not, is up for debate. I thought Royal came over and had a word with him about it, when he was on the deck.

And I’d hope one of our players smashed him into the stands and takes the punishment for it

Which is fair enough, its football is allowed and within the law.

Just so many sensitive people, if he gets smashed and gets someone sent off it's what it is.

They should be tinkled off that they tried so hard but still couldn't get close to scoring a goal.

Maybe because Conte feels he needs playing through the patch? I look at Son and yes he has been poor but like I always say, with how we play, without a creative outlet behind and, Perisic aside not much from wide its on him, Kane and Deki to create a spark. When like first half we see little of the ball, thats tough TBH
