Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

From F365's Mediawatch:

Loanly
Brendan Rogers, 10 July, on Andy Carroll leaving on loan:

"It's something I would have to look at, I have to be honest. Sometimes a player going out on loan - in general, not just Andy - can benefit the club in the long term. I'm not going to sit here and say I will never let anyone go on loan, then come in here in two weeks and a player's gone, and you're saying 'you said you wouldn't let them go'."

Brendan Rogers, 18 July, on Andy Carroll leaving on loan:

"There has been a lot written and spoken over the last couple of weeks. For me, it's simple. If there was an offer to take him on a permanent deal, we'd have to look at it, but that's no different to any player. The thought of him going on loan for one year is ridiculous, really. It is that part of the year where there is a game going on with agents and other people."

He really has turned into a bit of a tit.

Been on the end of a gonading from above.

Just to get this on topic, I really do hate Liverpool football club and their supporters.

That's what I thought too. Although it then begs the question as to firstly why they hadn't even discussed what they wanted to do with Carroll yet so that Brendan could be more prepared when answering the inevitable questions, and also how Brendan could be so fudging brazen as to blame the loan speculation on agents when he bloody admitted it just over a week prior! Infuriating!

'Joe Allen is better than Iniesta and we're negotiating over a few mil? FFS! '

Hilarity ensues.

Edit: Though to be fair it was pointed out as ludicrous by a number of posters.

Have they gone back to their pay too much for british players plan?

It was a good plan. It entertained the rest of the league to no end.

Its funny because just the other day the ****'s chariman was stating how they may have overpaid for a number of players and that they will be restricting the purse strings.

This just puts Real Madrids offer for Modric into the derisory figure. 15m for Allen and Modric is only 12m more? fudge off.
