What do you mean? The only difference between us and any other country is over image rights. This is due to the deal hmrc and clubs made regarding how much image rights can be used for tax purposes (business tax rather than income tax). It's set at 15% of total wages. But the club has to own those rights. Although it might have existed prior due to the teves, mascherano saga.
As far as i'm aware the luiz deal is not about image rights. Guessing it's more a 20% sell on fee. By fifas rules it's up to porto who they sell to and how much for.

Image rights are basically doing work not on the football pitch. But still for the club. AIA want to use a picture of a player, or getir doing those ads on youtube. Merchandise etc...
Obviously players do stuff away from the club too. Boot deals, ads etc... think in other countries these can be owned by someone else (dybala). Not in the uk though.
As far as i'm aware though this isn't the case with diaz.

So the idea is that Levy is this sneaky machiavellian figure that repeatedly tries to trick fans (and the manager) into thinking that we're trying to sign players when we're actually not?
All along Levy is too stupid to understand that you see right through him and his fantastic plan is actually just causing more frustration rather than good will.

Seems to be easy for most clubs? Care to explain all these easy transfers clubs at our level get done for a player of this standard? We are talking about a player who is known to have Liverpool and other top level European players interested in him. He and his agent know this, so it’s going to be a tough sell to get him to come here. None of the other top clubs interested in him have met his release clause as of yet, but of course we should just bend over and do so to appease some fans going through their bi annual bed wetting exercise when it comes to transfers. We aren’t Real Madrid who can just waltz in and pay top money, and use the stature of the club to tempt the player. We are the level below that, so to tempt players like Kessie and Diaz you are going to have to be very lucky and it’s certainly not a deal that’s just going to get done quickly. But it’s positive we are at least asking the question - of course Levy could just go for ‘budget’ players for an easier ride as we all know how well that goes down on here
