Agreed but the idea of him going abroad and no chance of him playing against us might be tempting to Danny boy.

Of those two scenarios I'd take £28m from Madrid, it's not my money afterall.

If he does end up with Madrid though it won't be for a penny less than £35m.

Because I don't want to see him playing in a City shirt, I don't want him playing against us, I want to see him playing for the biggest club in the world if it can't be with Spurs. Out of sight and out of mind, or until I watch La Liga on a Saturday/Sunday evening.

hahahahahah at anyone taking £28m from Real over £40m from City. If the price was a few million apart then ok fair enough i'd accept the Real deal but 12m difference ffs loool.

Some itk(kind of) from rebrab

Worth posting in here, I think, that AVB is taking his job very seriously. Been looking through player profiles for months, written and submitted a shortlist to the club - this list is thorough enough to include an England and Hull U16 player for the future. Suggests to me 2 things:

1) he's known an english club could be an option for a while.
2) he's here for the long haul.

This club could be very well run and orchestrated. Got a good feeling about this.

SSN website saying Fryers is done and dusted

12m is a lot. I would be highly surprised if he was sold for £28m though.

Brighton & Hove Albion sign Emirates Marketing Project defender Wayne Bridge on a season-long loan.

£35m to Madrid please. Modric is far too classy for those utter scumbags at City. What happened to us being title contenders last season anyway? We were in the hunt for over half the year, surely that is our long-term goal, even if they aren't close rivals, they're still rivals.

I still love Modric, he's absolute class, but I've accepted he's going to go. £28m is a joke for a player of his class, Levy will bleed plenty more out of whoever buys him I'm sure, let's just hope it's Madrid.
