We aren't doing well in attack because we have been missing players like 'Good Dele'

Thing is, he is right - he's looking for a reaction.
But few of our players will react like that - I'm not sure many players in general do now.
Commitment now comes from togetherness and encouragement, not the stick of proving someone wrong or of proving you are not letting the side down.
That's why I think Dyche would be good, he is a hard but understands you need to get players engaged to produce.

I spotted that as well. Blaming him for being injured but never playing the guy when he is fit is one of the most peculiar things I have seen in a while.

All managers carry a degree of uncertainty and risk. Generally the worst managers we've appointed have been those without any prior experience of the Premier League (Gross, Santini, Ramos) - Jol was the only exception though he had a minimal playing career in England.
I actually went to bed last night feeling a warm glow about Graham Potter whose stock has risen exponentially in the last week. I even worked out that Brighton would be prepared to let him leave and would have in Eddie Howe a perfect replacement available. Just indulge me here....but Brighton's Chief Exec Paul Barber is close with Levy having been his CEO at Spurs for many years. Potter's Brighton have outplayed us in each of the last four matches we've played - he seems very much in the mould Levy has appointed before (AVB, Poch).
However, I'm also very conscious that Potter is not even Flavour of the Month yet (more flavour of the week) and probably doesn't fit the profile Levy would be looking for now. Just the name Graham Potter doesn't sound brandworthy enough.
I think we should assume that Levy will have advisers and consultants providing all sorts of insights into who is up and coming across World Football.

Agreed. Rodgers plays good football, gets a team playing to great than sum of the parts, has made some excellent signings. Only thing which he doesnt have is a big name

The media might bring him up, but if anyone of the top people at Spurs even mention his name they should be terminated immediately. Terrible manager. Relegated Middlesboro and got rescued by the FA's program for giving ex-players opportunities they haven't earned.

What do you chaps think of Thomas Frank as a left field option? Brentford play some good stuff and I'm all for a proven manager, even at lower league, who is on the up rather than promoting an assistant / recent ex-player in the hope they are decent.
Understand the reaction but A LOT of manager appointments solve the failings of the previous guy. Therefore Jose's successor would likely be:
- younger (Poch-like)
- clean cut (Southgate, Howe etc)
- have an established, attractive way of playing
That will bring Howe and Southgate's names into the mix. I'm sure there's lots of overseas managers who fit the bill too, but I don't watch hours of overseas football so cant comment on the equivalent names outside the UK
