I'm fairly sure if we could own and sell those people like we do the fish, he'd be perfectly happy with that being the case.
Yeah but slavery.I'm fairly sure if we could own and sell those people like we do the fish, he'd be perfectly happy with that being the case.
That was the joke..Yeah but slavery.
The fish are delighted.Clear as day there's huge issues but hardly any publicity being put on by things such as BBC except the scottish fish issue.
Was it? My apologies. It's not that easy to tell with you sometimesThat was the joke..
"The English tell you to leave the compound after paperwork is done even if your driving time is over. You can't just drive out and park in the lay-by, as they will slam a wheel clamp on you for that..."
He's not driving when he's in a queue. His driving time isn't over.
The simple answer is to have the drivers take their rest break early when they're standing around with their thumb up their arse like all fleet managers do. If they can take their break when being loaded/unloaded, they can do it whilst standing in a line. He's not on official rest - so he's classes as being in charge of a vehicle (ergo, driving).
Rules are rules.
He was talking about his allowed driving time - not his rest break. The simple answer is to have the drivers take their rest break early when they're standing around with their thumb up their arse like all fleet managers do. If they can take their break when being loaded/unloaded, they can do it whilst standing in a line.
If that's against any rules, we can change them now.
Rest breaks are what defines his driving time (unless he's trying to do more driving in a day than allowed and he should have planned for that). He was talking about his allowed driving time - not his rest break.
We could - however road safety and driving standards are:
I. Something we are strong proponents of and
II. A vote loser when reducing standards.
hahahaha - UK looks on course to scrap EU Working Time Directive. As someone who's automatically opted out due to job, doesn't affect me. But just another example of people reaping what they sow when they realise the job protections they had will disappear. Still, you get a blue passport though eh.
