Some lockdown survival tips:

  1. Shop at M&S. People are desperate but not enough to spend a couple of extra quid on a shop, apparently
  2. Shop at your local butcher. All that meat that's disappeared from Sainsbury's - he's got plenty and it's better
  3. Buy a fudging pasta maker and a bread maker. Stop whining that there's no pasta, all the ingredients are still there

We've got a meat order being delivered from our local butcher tomorrow morning, can't wait
I've been getting toilet tolls off Amazon, literally £1.50 or so more than a local supermarket and no fighting through what is like Russia in the 80s to get served !!

Are they any examples of countries that are doing sod all, getting cases, but for some reason still not losing their s**t?

For some, financial prudence appears to be based on spend when the times are bad, spend more when the times are good.

The beauty of that tactic is that it's a Conservative govt that has to sort your brick out and you can just pretend the hardship is all their fault.

Thought I'd take you up your idea. I've just been on Amazon, bog roll now selling for £9 for a two pack and £59.99 for a 9 pack! My new hobby is reporting the clams for gouging, fudgers!

Bbc reported this morning that several major Italian newspapers were querying the death rate, way over inflated.
This seems to have disappeared.
