Woke up this morning strangely optimistic. I know RSB were poor in the week and today is a much bigger test but I saw a hunger and a swagger in Tuesdays performance that I wasn't sure this group still had in them.

It defies logic, form and common sense but I'm predicting a high scoring win for us today. Christ, having a football team really is like having a kid. They can put you through years of brick and it only takes one little glimmer to keep believing in them because the love never goes.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if at least one of these manages to not happen today.

1. Concede within 10 minutes(probably self inflicted and within 5)
2. Concede between 40-45 minutes
3. Concede after 85 minutes

I'll settle for not all of them happening:cool:

So. Seeing as we're mostly fairly certain of today's result, maybe a more interesting game will be for us to guess what will be someone else's fault according to the victims this weekend.

My guess is that they'll suggest Sky (with the help of the Sun, the Police and Thatcher) has turned Carragher against them. That they've somehow forced him to speak out against the cult and that he (and obviously the club by extension) is a victim in all of this Suarez nonsense.

So long as Poch doesn't try to be to clever by tinkering the line-up after the 5-0 win then I'm up for this rather than dreading it. I say I need TP for my bunghole!...

I'd play the same team as Tuesday but I'd start the game by setting them up in deep positions and looking to catch Liverpool on the break... Lamela and Sonny, will need to work their full-backs,
and give them a game they will want to forget.. All our players need to be on it 100% ...

It's true, the team selected on Tuesday was not tested by a top opponent but our lads played a game filled with joy and dare, the 'Tottenham Way.' It had good chemistry throughout. Aurier and Lamela, Sissoko and N'dombele, Sonny and his best friend Dele, whilst Kane looked happy with his surrounding team mates.

Poch - please don't let us down by over complicating it ..Remember who we are, remind the players who we are.

Demand 100% commitment and allow the players to play..

COYS!

I'm sticking with 2-3 today.

VAN dingdonghead to score with a corner from a header 7 mins.

Ham Salad to score with a dodgy backpass from Kane to put them 2 up by half time.

Son to score on 59 minutes with a deflected shot off of Alexander Arnold.

Ndombele with a headered equaliser from a cross from Sissoko on 73 minutes

Sissoko to score a 28 yard screamer with his right foot that their lady keeper Alison has no chance with on 91 minutes.

Blimey, You're giving up early today Scara. I'm planning on enjoying the warm up and possibly the first 90 seconds before I lose hope.

I agree with the formation, though surprised to see Vertonghen and Ndombele on the bench. Also not great to see at least 3 players starting who won't be here next season....

Still, 4-2-3-1 gives me some hope
