The margins are fine and the scorelines exaggerated. Great performance for the entire match tonight, but in fairness, a comfortable 3-0 game. First-half against Bayern we should've had four goals, missing three very easy chances, the likes of which we have put away tonight. Key difference (for me) is professionalism. No-one has switched off, no-one has brain-farted, no-one has passed on their responsibilities. I maintain had we gone in at HT 1-1, we might yet have won that night. Aurier's farts compounded the problems, and the downing of tools in that final 10 minutes was so alarming that it was important not to overreact as it was so absurd the issue had to be dug out not instantly judged.

Hopefully Poch will not pick Alderweireld again unless desperate. Ditto Eriksen. Ditto Danny. I believe he has needed time in several senses to bring it to fruit. With Foyth fit it makes life easier as you have Davos and Foyth if need be fit (Toby becomes potentially third).

Let's hope we continue. I think we will get something at the weekend.
