The Official 2019/20 Premier League Thread

Fcukin' 'ell. I know Martin Tyler isn't actually an Arsenal fan. But that doesn't stop him from pandering to the Popguns' legions with his sympathetic comments about them.

Would love to hear him call them out for the floundering schittshow they've been in recent seasons.

Sheffield United work a classic corner goal and all you can see afterwards is David Luiz miles out of position and Arsenal armpits from hands raised in vain.

Yeah I'm a Fisher Ath fan but I go to most Spurs games and always want Woolwich to lose bit of similarity profile there between him and me.
 
I'm a Toronto FC fan and have a great time at their MLS games.

But attending Spurs games is a bridge too far at the moment. Deeply envious of your itinerary
 
Good Lord. What a weird season. 3rd place is there for anybody who can actually show some consistency.

Really congested in mid-table. We are as near to Leicester in 3rd as we are to Norwich in 19th. We really need to pick up some points somehow from the next 2 away games or else we could be right near the bottom come our turn to play Sheffield United in 3 weeks time
 
This result is the strongest signal we could receive to pick it up and launch forward. This is now where it all happens for Spurs.

I believe that as well, you would think that after reading all the doom and gloom from some fans we would be miles away from the top four but in reality we are only 5 pts off. Now i am not saying we should not be concerned but some of the nashing of teeth and over reaction to our start is over the top.

We can’t excuse our terrible performances by saying they match all the other terrible teams. Means we should be well clear in 3rd, putting pressure on Liverpool and City; not losing to Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Brighton, and enduring our worst ever home defeat.

Not saying we should excuse anything, but fans throwing their toys out of the pram so early in the season is ( imo) over reaction with some of their comments.
