Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

I thought our first half performance was arguably our best of the season.

I think the second was the worst I’ve ever seen by a Spurs eleven ever, adjusted for ability.

He’s just not trying, no Spurs manager has ever had the riches he has, and he’s wasting it.

I think he'll be here for Brighton. Lose that, and he's out. One last chance to turn things around. Although if he does survive, he can't afford any more slip ups for a long time - and no more capitulations like tonight.

First half against Palace for me. We were still woefully inept defensively tonight in the first as well as second half.

That is an AVB result.

When some of us were saying that he could still turn it around, it was results like this that put the writing on the wall.

Thats a fair comparison. There are often games which are a turning point for a manager, and when they lose the fans. Tonight feels like that moment

That said, if he changes formation and wins the next two I still think he can come back from this...but he needs to lose the arrogance and stroppy-ness and go back to what was successful, namely 4-2-3-1. Otherwise I'd rather we sack him now than wait til xmas

Honestly would take mourinho or allegri right now ... I think poch can't recover from this ... the fans are fickle and time is never going to be on his side.

Buried himself ever since he said he could leave if we had won the champions league. Which players were going to commit to that?

I think he lost the fans sometime last year but the Champions League run kept most happy. Now there's not much to look forward to and the football and results are trending downwards.

I think he'll keep his job by the skin of Levy's wallet.

If he could go without a pay off I think he'd be gone.

As someone else said, Levy will judge that pay-off vs what we'd lose if we dont get top 4 this season. On that basis, Levy acts sooner rather than later doesnt he?

The people in the Sky studio laying into Poch now for not changing the formation. Wonder whether Poch saw the stupidity in the formation?

First half performance was like when you go back to your ex's house for one last shag after you've broken up.

Feels like it used to, but underneath it's broken.
