My team would be

.................,,,,,,Lloris

......Aurier.......TA........verts..........Davies

..............Ndombele..........Dier

......Moura..........Lamela............Son

........................Kane

The team I’m expecting and fear is

......................Lloris

Aurier...........Ta...........Sanchez..........Rose

........................Winks

................Sissoko..........Ndombele

..................Lamela........Kane

..........................Son

I think it is for our good, to be honest.

Look around, there is a growing chorus against Poch anyway, if the media get behind that then things only go one way...

True.
I just don't see him changing his post CL final melancholia which looks to have "agitated" the dressing room at best?

I wonder if the 'i might leave' remark might have been a bit of a tinkle take of the 'i might leave' phalanx in the dressing room???

Result being peed off players?

That is a brilliant almost Johnsonesqe piece of spin!
If you are right Ric, it backfired dreadfully.

100000000% agree

He seems to want to play a midfield diamond for whatever reason, despite no-one ever being successful with it. And with WInks, Ndombele and Sissoko all rested last night, you can gaurantee that they'll be starting on saturday

I would go:

...................Lloris..................

.........Toby..................Verts...........

Aurier............Dier.................Rose

.............Sissoko........NDembele.........

Son..................Kane................ Lamela

no no no no no. We need to get back to playing 4-2-3-1. Its the formation which we played in his first 3-4 years at Spurs and which we have success with

We also have 6 players for those 3 positions behind Kane.

---------------------------Lloris-----------------------

---Aurier---Alderweireld--Vertonghen---Rose---

----------------Winks------------Ndombele---------

---------Son------------Eriksen---------Moura/Lamela------

--------------------------Kane------------------------

subs: Gazza, Davies, Foyth, Dier, Sissoko, Moura/Lamela, Dele

Sorry, Adam my bad I was simply talking personnel.
I agree regarding the formation

I always took it to mean he could do no more than that, if he won the CL with us then it would be the peak, call it a job done kind of thing.

Never anything more than that. Though, we see repeated reports about how deeply that CL loss effected him, I wonder if maybe he had mentally moved on at that time? And cant rekindle his drive?

I have never seen us lose at the lane ... I'm fearing the worst for this game ... we are either going to get done on the counter or we will pound them ...

SCBC are a funny team. No major quality, and currently in transition under a new manager. But... signs of things coming together for them. Quite hit and miss.

Like you I think it can go either way. And like you I think Id me more comfortable if I knew exactly what sort of team was going to show up to play us.

Though as I think about it, it would also be nice to know what to expect from our own side too...

Positive hat on: next 3 games are all very winnable and would put us on 17 points after 9 games, which is top 4 form

I fear though that we'll continue to perform short of our potential whilst we continue to play daft formations

I wasn't being serious

Now you've got me worried....the players have no motivation..now the manager has lost his motivation...and us fans are losing the will to live....

Serious relegation fears.

:)

First 5 minutes will reveal all.

Score and a spanking will be Southampton's

They score/we look shaky/no intensity and I fully expect us to pass it sideways slowly for 70 mins/get done by some sub scoring his first goal on his comeback after surgery to restore eyesight to both eyes and reattach his legs/Kane, Son and Moura to be standing vertically in a line holding hands with Kane the deepest of the three.
