didn't see the game but followed on here as usual... We have to get our defence in order..but how?
sounds like we should have won this game by a country mile and blew it..too many brain farts in defence and too many misses up front...
oh yeah and a ref who's an arse season ticket holder!
The absolute worst way of forming an idea on the game, with the greatest of respect I’m ignoring everything else you’ve said in your post based on that disclosure.

Surely you can’t think having an actual right back playing in his correct position is worse than playing an out of form centre back out there? I mean if playing an out of form centre back out there was the answer then we may as well ditch KWP as he’s an awful right back
KWP was injured, it’s more of a inclination of how Poch rates Aurier, rightly IMO.

Not at all. Was just reminding you that Serge Aurier isn’t exactly the land of milk and honey sometimes too. (Think sending offs, crazy penalty’s, and junior school throw ins!)

I know KWP is injured, I don’t rate him at all. He’s trash. Think we definitely needed a new right back so perhaps we ought to have been more focused on addressing that issue than trying to buy Dybala, a player in a position that we are well covered for. That’s not to say I think trying to buy Dybala was a mistake in itself, I think he could have been excellent BUT better to address holes in the team than to buy ‘luxury’ players.

I cant believe Sissoko is anywhere near MOM

Ridiculous shoot just before Arsenal scored instead of keeping the ball till half time
Easy pass to Kane fluffed to make it 3-1
Easy chance missed to win it at end not even on target
Part of a midfield that may as well not have been there.
Passing woeful

Atkinson was fudging awful all game.

Apart from what's already been discussed, did anyone notice he blew up to stop play before they scored their offside goal?

So had it actually been onside and VAR had given the goal, our players would have stopped at the whistle and he'd have fudged us over yet again

He was a disgrace.
New proportions of "homer"...was never going to give an injury time pen. I am getting sick and tired of all the "Kane dive" merchants, he knows that thundering fudging oaf is behind him with the coordination of a spastic elephant, and he does what any wise striker would do and slows up a touch. All the oaf hd to do was raise his arms; what he didn't need to do was put two hands on Kane and shove him to the floor. Anywhere else on the pitch that is a free-kick, and a free-kick in the penalty box is a penalty. Same for Ceballos on Dele. Xhaka committed SEVEN FOULS and was only booked near the end? And how did the giant fudging lumbering oafmeister escape a sending off after picking put Winks and proceeding to try and start a fight/curse out Atkinson? Add to that the curious addiction the filth seemed to have for sniffing the turf from an inch away whenever a white shirt got close, and yes, Atkinson had a giant. fudging. MARE!!!!!

I'll admit its different and your not going to know exactly how the game panned out without seeing the game....but for starters based on everyone's feedback the ref from our point of view was an out and out homer and from my observation of previous games our defence made major rooster ups ..nor clearing the ball properly that led to at least one of their goals
also misses up front, quite a common scenario with us + Llorentes poor clearing of the ball with his kicking..another common flaw that has not changed!
we could have done better yeah..or were arsenal that much better than us in their ability. It also appears we were not so committed as them at times in the game.

Sanchez, Rose and our entire defense had chances to boot that ball out at the end of the half, but I understand you might not wish to mention that when there is one man whose shoulders are used to the extra weight.

Nope, didn't say boot it out.

We had the ball in the Arsenal half and he tried to shoot from 30 yards instead of keeping it and seeing the half out.

Brain dead game management, but as you say wasnt the only one.

Negatives from today:
Sanchez having another mare (albeit being played out of position)
We’ve played two away games against the big six and we’ve looked second best for at least 75% of the 3 halves in total
Why do insist on playing out from the back like it’s a religion? We put ourselves under pressure for about 5 mins of the first half alone purely from dingdonging around with the ball.
We made Arsenal look like a much better side today and than they actually are

Positives:
We got stronger towards the end despite being second best for pretty much all of the second half
Lo Celso and Alli looked useful when they came on
Vertonghen was restored to the starting lineup
Kane took the penalty well and was unlucky not to score another. Not a great overall game from him but he always looks like scoring and doesn’t ever hide.
Lloris made some good saves albeit he also made one horror show of a pass.
We played another game and looked far from our best and still got a point.

I think our effort, in the last two games particularly, has been awful. I rarely ever use the “they aren’t trying” explanation but in the last two weeks Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Arsenal looked much hungrier than us.

It’s a worry because that honesty of effort should be a given and not so long ago, we were the team who outworked other sides.
