Been thinking that for over a week now. Has Pochettino secretly let them know he is off? Doubt it really. But like you say something seems not right

Remember the Redknapp and England season?

I think Madrid was always the likely destination not man u. I said a while ago I think he will go and his behaviour recently only makes me more certain, think he wanted to go out having won something.

Now I am more interested in rebuilding phase. As a cycle fan I know teams have cycles(periods in time) where they try to bring through riders to create their next big wins.

My idea is get rid of the stale players, possibly even some big name ones and bring through and buy some talented youth players, tell the new guy he has a few seasons to just build a team and not worry about league positions. Then I think we will be in a better position.

Not saying I want Poch to go, just that I think he is. The fact that he could have easily nipped it all in the bud and said he was staying and did not shows to me he is off. I know a lot on here have taken the tinkle out of us for saying why did he not say he was staying. But it is the easiest way to diffuse pressure and speculation.

Take off Eriksen and we lose our one creative player. This is not about who has played better up til now but who is most likely to fashion a winner. That is still Eriksen even when he is playing poorly.

It’s got the same feel to the season we choked 3rd and missed out on CL at the moment, struggling for form and a massive lead point wise.

We need a boost in jan then and we did now.

Saha and Neilsen were apparently busy this year.

Wonder what they do with themselves these days. Always wondered if Neilsen was a celebrity back in New Zealand.
