The Goon Thread

Including the man in the dugout, there were three competitive Arsenal debuts on Sunday, with new head coach Unai Emery naming Sokratis and Matteo Guendouzi in his first Premier League starting XI. Sokratis picked up a booking but made a fairly solid debut while 19-year-old Guendouzi was impressive in tough circumstances, battling in midfield up against some big names and showing real hunger and intent

Reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

He has neither hunger for scissors nor intent to get a haircut.

What I am hoping is that dingdong Emery didn't see this as a "free game" and use it to dig out the wasters in his squad who (due to wage and seniority) command presence (Ozil, Mhikitariyan Ramsey, Cech) and can now dump them with full proof and justification of how "waster-like" they are!!!!

No chance. Arsenal may be poor but they are hardly relegation fodder. They have an extensively assembled squad and shouldn’t be writing off any games especially not a London Derby against a team with a manager also finding his feet.

On their day they will be good, but with players like Ozil, Aubameyang and Mythawhatshesname they will be playing with 8 men when it gets tough.

Ooh, you are awful ...

They are an average team. They have some decent attacking players who can look good when things are all falling for them. But they can't dig out results, they have a poor defence and weak characters in their side.

What a shame it is! Qunts! :D
