Summer 2018 transfer thread

This made me think of Kazayuki Toda, Umbulelo OJ Mabizela, and the best one of all, Bongani Khumalo who probably never kicked a ball for us but MAN did we sell a lot of Spurs shirts in South Africa. Did we? Er, no.

I had a Toda t-shirt

Had a brief look on Twitter & the abuse coming from Spurs fans is embarrassing.

We’re in dreamland imo. New stadium and another season with this amazing squad that will be one year more experienced — plus money in the bank (you would hope). Where have these fans been the past 20 years?

Bigger argument Football Manager has wrecked football more than Sky money.

I'm hoping that when people realise Toby is still here, hopefully Rose is still here and see Moura perform, and we beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine it will settle down.

My biggest worry is i have one of them behind my at the new stadium, didnt want to have to start new season with a ruck - lol

Actually makes me very angry. You wait 30 years to have a decent team then these macarons stink up the place.

People tweeting abuse at the club, and saying they’ll boo the team, **** Poch etc.

fudge off and support Arsenal, as you obviously don’t support Tottenham (or appreciate the football we play).

Although not in the ranks of the distraught, I have trouble being persuaded that it is not such a bad thing that we have no incomings or outgoings. I find it difficult to believe this was all part of some masterful strategy. For a start there are still likely to be outgoings to Europe. It is difficult to argue that standing still will help us finish ahead of the teams that finished ahead of us last season. Teams behind us have improved. And the reports that we bid for various players, if true, suggest that we believed we could improve but have failed to do so.
