This always smelt of a Levy signing. Cheap player at a club in financial trouble that we could turnover in 12 months for a profit. As soon as the fee prohibits that, there's no point

FFP issues are still there, first bid was when they needed cash flow to pay tax man and keep the lights on. This is what the new owners could fix, they are still about £40M to get by the end of the season to pass FFP.
