Canning Town Bingo Club

I should say though, that it is such a disaster does offer me some satisfaction.

Especially now we have built what we have. WHLII looks genuinely world class - it can stand against any stadium on the planet.

Id love to see the Porn Dwarves, and their army of orcs reactions when the publicity starts rolling out.

You know very well our first game there, its going to be all over Sky for days.

Had my first visit to “their” stadium at the weekend to see Foo Fighters.

I knew that it was right next door to Westfield but I was amazed to find that the main route from Stratford station directs you right through the middle of the shopping centre.

And getting out was awful, it took us over an hour to walk (shuffle) back to Stratford station

Considering that brickhole is only 6 years old from a crowd control point of view it’s a disaster and I’m amazed it’s allowed to continue like that.

Not on match days. That's one of the many gripes, having to walk the long way around as they can't cut through Westfield.

Yeah that’s why it took so long getting back, Westfield was obviously closed by that time so we were led a tortuous route back to the station.

Once WHLII is open, how many opportunities like that will the OS miss out on?

Foo Fighters come back to London, who are they going to choose if presented with both options?

The one that makes the most sense financially. I don't know how much their record label's agreements with AEG or Live Nation would enter into it either.

I don't think the fact our stadium will be more awesome will enter into it too much.

Spurs won't get concerts against London stadium because the bids will besubsidised and also unfortunately its easier to get to Stratford than WHLII

Anyway by the by, I went to meet mates for a beer at the Olympic Stadium and getting from Westfield to the ground or the pub just outside was a pain in the arse, took 15 mins there and 15 mins back all for a fudging beer

And Stratford had a better infrastructure - shops, restaurants etc

Is it bigger capacity? I thought it was in the 60k zone same as ours

57K in football mode currently (although could be increased to 60K in future) but 80K concert capacity...

Although it looks like fans at opposite end are barely in the same postcode!
