definitely this. You can tell by looking at him there is something about him, the fact he is 17 and looks like he does is just unreal.

Carroll is actually looking really good. He's looking like a handful. If Rodgson likes to play with a target man, he could have 2 good options in Carroll and Holt...and Crouch. 2 of them may be much maligned but if they are put in a system that plays to their strengths then I don't see why they can't do well. We aren't going to win the Euros playing like Spain so we may as well give it a go playing like old-fashioned England.

Carroll doesn't look scared any more. He looks genuinely confident, and he didn't have that look in his eyes before. I think something's changed with him.

Interesting how much better Liverpool like without Gerrard. They look balanced, keeping it simple, Chelsea have been brick but Liverpool look crisp.

I think Roy will take him to the Euros.
